CALDWELLS, NJ — One of the most mud-splattered U.S. presidential elections in recent history officially left its mark in the Caldwells for 2016 when voters weighed in Tuesday. But whose candidates will emerge victorious?

Caldwell / West Caldwell Board of Education

- Marie Lanfrank - 3,905 votes (42.94 %)
- Daniel Cipoletti - 3,574 votes (39.30 %)
- Ronald F. Goltsch, Jr. - 1,582 votes (17.4 %)
West Essex Regional Board of Education (North Caldwell Member)
Four out of four districts reported
- Judith Amorim Dias - 1,660 votes (50.49 %)
- Anthony Prinzo - 1,621 votes (49.3 %)
West Essex Regional Board of Education (Roseland Member)

- Deborah Sacco-Calderone - 1,534 votes (99.42 %)
North Caldwell Board of Education

- Stephen J. Flack (D) - 1,277 votes (24.47 %)
- Henderson Cole (D) - 1,197 votes (22.94 %)
- Thomas O'Donnell (R) - 1,347 votes (25.81 %)
- Pasquale Capozzoli (R) - 1,398 votes (26.79 %)
North Caldwell Borough Council
Four out of four districts reported
- Joshua H. Raymond (R) - 1,892 votes (50.2 %)
- Arthur J. Rees (R) - 1,866 votes (49.51 %)
West Caldwell Township Council
Nine of nine districts reported
- Joseph P. Cecere (R) - 3,183 votes (51.45 %)
- Stephen P. Wolsky (R) - 2,975 votes (48.09 %)

Several reported issues and delays were seen across New Jersey on Tuesday, including polling place lines that stretched blocks, a sign that appeared to tell voters that they needed ID to cast a ballot and malfunctioning voting machines.
