Caldwells Rotary Makes Food Pantry Donation, Gets Teacher Visit

The Rotary Club of the Caldwells made a $1,200 donation to the Caldwell Food Pantry and got a visit from six Russian teachers.

CALDWELLS, NJ — The Rotary Club of the Caldwells recently made a $1,200 donation to the Caldwell Food Pantry and got a visit from six Russian special education teachers.

According to a news release, during its Tuesday meeting, the club’s community service chair, Paul Marinaccio, presented a $1,200 donation of food gift cards (Foodtown) to Maria Burak from the Caldwell Food Pantry for the upcoming holiday season.

In other club news, its members got a visit on Oct. 2 from six special education teachers from Russia, who spoke about their responsibilities as teachers and professionals. Several of the educators, who were part of an Open World exchange program, specialized in the field of autism.
