Car Chase Ends In North Caldwell, Heroin Possession Charges Filed: Report
The woman allegedly rammed a cop car twice in an attempt to speed away, authorities say.

North Caldwell, NJ – Authorities arrested a Hopatcong woman after she allegedly led cops on a heroin-influenced car chase that began in Fairfield and ended in North Caldwell earlier this month, police say.
Police arrested Kirsten Miller, 21, after a lengthy car chase on May 3, Tap Into reported.
Fairfield police stated that the incident began when officers received a call about a woman allegedly ingesting heroin while sitting in the driver seat of a parked 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser at Quick Check on Passaic Avenue, Tap Into reported.

When officers arrived on scene and confronted Miller, she allegedly put the car in reverse, rammed their patrol car twice and struck a nearby pickup truck before speeding away east on Little Falls Road, authorities stated.
The pursuit continued into North Caldwell and ended when Miller allegedly pulled onto Park Place, where she was apprehended and arrested, TAP Into reported.

Authorities charged Miller with eluding police, aggravated assault on a police officer, possessing the vehicle as a weapon for an unlawful purpose, use of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of heroin, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, destruction of evidence, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
