Caroline Vandemark of Caldwell lost her battle at 22 years old to an aggressive form of brain cancer. Caroline did everything with a smile and never once did she lost her positive spirit. In September of 2013, Hackensack University Medical Center honored her in naming the Caroline Vandemark Fund for Brain and Spine Tumor Research in her memory. In support of this cause, the Caroline Fund: A Non-Profit Corporation established by Caroline's family and friends will be running an annual 5K race to gain funds and awareness.
The first annual race will be held on September 13, 2014 at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell, NJ. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Come out to RUN, WALK or DONATE to honor Caroline.
Registration can be found at www.raceforum.com/caroline.
