Caroline Fund 5K Run/Walk Returns To Caldwell For 2018

The annual event is held in memory of Caroline Vandemark, 22, of Caldwell.

On Saturday, September 15 in Caldwell, NJ, the Caroline Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in support of brain cancer research hosts the 5th Annual Caroline Fund 5K Run/Walk. The event raises funds and awareness for brain and spine tumor research at Hackensack University Medical Center and is held in memory of Caroline Vandemark, 22 of Caldwell. (Learn more here)

Past year's races gathered nearly 800 runners and walkers, over 100 volunteers, and have allowed the Caroline Fund to contribute over a quarter of a million dollars to the research being preformed by Caroline's surgeons at HUMC in her name. The Caroline Fund has helped them perform cutting-edge research that has enabled the doctors to discover several novel treatment options and perform successful clinical trials.
