Cops Use Cookies To Connect With Kids At West Essex Middle School
You might have heard of "Coffee With A Cop." This school in North Caldwell just held its first "Cookie With A Cop."
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — You might have heard of “Coffee With A Cop,” a nationwide campaign to bring police officers and the community they serve together in a non-confrontational setting.
But have you heard of “Cookie With A Cop?”
On Tuesday, West Essex Middle School in North Caldwell hosted its first such event, inviting officers from Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell and Roseland onto the premises. The eager cops got a chance to connect with just-as-eager students, enjoying cookies provided by Pomptonian Food Service.
