Principal Search Begins For Elementary School In West Caldwell

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The Caldwell-West Caldwell schools have posted a job ad as they seek a permanent principal for Wilson Elementary School in West Caldwell.

The ad, posted Wednesday, said, "Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District seeks a dynamic, child-centered, instructional leader for Wilson Elementary School. Experience with Readers/Writers Workshop preferred. Elementary teaching experience required. NJ Principal CEAS or Standard certification required."

The Progress posted late last month that James Caldwell High School Vice Principal Frank Lincoln would serve as interim principal as of Feb. 1, receiving $10,000 for the post through June 30.

In Lincoln's bio on the Wilson website, it notes that he's also the district anti-bullying coordinator.

"Mr. Lincoln is thrilled to become a part of the Wilson School Community!" says the page.
