Essex County Store Sells $138K Jersey Cash 5 Lottery Ticket

An Essex County store sold a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket for the Sunday, Oct. 22 drawing, officials say. See the lucky numbers here.

FAIRFIELD, NJ — An Essex County store sold a $138,435 winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket for the Sunday, Oct. 22 drawing, lottery officials say.

According to the NJ Lottery, the retailer that sold the winning ticket is Jacks Friendly Service at 152 Passaic Avenue in Fairfield. The store will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers were: 02, 04, 11, 12 and 21 and the XTRA number was: 02.

There were 251,381 tickets purchased for the drawing, lottery officials said.
