NJ's 'Oldest Watercolor Club' To Hold West Caldwell Exhibit, Reception

The Essex Watercolor Club is "New Jersey's the oldest watercolor organization" and is now entering its 86th year.

The Essex Watercolor Club will host an exhibit at Crane's Mill Retirement Community at 459 Passaic Avenue in West Caldwell featuring 40 to 50 watercolor paintings of different subjects and styles. There will be an artists' reception on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m.

According to a news release, the club is "New Jersey's the oldest watercolor organization" and is now entering its 86th year. The club's members are award-winning artists whose works have been featured in books, galleries and juried shows, and are in corporate and private collections in the U.S. and internationally.
