Art on the Avenue, a fondly remembered, long-time West Essex area tradition, will be revived once again by The Caldwell Merchants’ Association from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, on Bloomfield Avenue in central downtown. In case of rain, the event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.
Community members of all ages from near and far are invited to stroll the Avenue sidewalks on June 9 to view the show and enjoy Caldwell’s shops and restaurants along the way. Event- registered artists and fine crafters will show their work in the categories of fine art in all mediums, photography, and sculpture and fine art crafts. An eight- to 12-foot length of display art fencing will be provided to registered artists, many of whom will be offering their work for sale.
