Caldwell High Students, Longfellow Chorus Perform

The Longfellow Chorus comes to Caldwell on Sunday when The Big Read features the performance of the renowned Longfellow Chorus at Grover Cleveland Middle School at 1 p.m.

In addition, 55 James Caldwell High School students, under the direction of Elsie Timpson, will also perform.

The event is free thanks to The Big Read and matching funds from the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex and The Rotary Club of the Caldwells.

Sunday's event will also include the premier performance of "The Poet's Calendar," Alternate Cantata finalist in the 2009-2010 Longfellow Chorus International Composers Competition by John Kramer, of Jamaica Plain, Mass.
