
The music department at The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell, is pleased to announce that registration is underway for the 26th annual Choir Camp, to be held August 20 - 26 at the church. Children who are entering grades 3 - 6 in Fall 2012 are invited to participate.
This year's production is a musical by Allen Pote and Tom Long entitled, "The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit." It is based on the Old Testament story of David and Goliath. The choir camp participants will work on the show during the week by learning the songs, dances and dialogue, directed by Rev. Barbara Piercy, Minister of Music. The production will be presented to residents at a local nursing home and the community is invited to attend the 10:00 Worship Service on Sunday, August 26 for the final performance.
There are many other activities planned for during the week as well, including a daily snack, group games and crafts. One of the highlights will be a field trip to Frog Falls Water Park for lunch and swimming. The week will also include a Friday night lock-in, or sleepover, at the church.

Registration froms may be picked up from the church office, M - F, from 9:00am - 4:00pm, or by calling 973-228-0310. A fee of $75 per participant will cover all supplies and activities.
