Soprano/Composer Melanie Mitrano will present a unique recital of "Jazzical Songs for Jazzical Cats," in which she will explore the convergence of classical art song and vocal jazz. The program will include music by contemporary American composers and select women composers; as well as a focus on Brazilian repertoire, sung in Portuguese.
