The Fine Grind Coffee Bar will host an exciting outdoor festival to raise funds for the American Cancer Society (ACS) on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 from noon to 4pm. Many items and fun family activities will be for sale and the proceeds will be donated to this indispensable cause. There will be face painting, a photo booth and vendors with exceptional products for sale. The Fine Grind will provide a lemonade stand with refreshing drinks such as (yep, you guessed it) lemonade and fresh-brewed iced tea and La Piazza Trattoria will man a fresh popcorn cart.

This event will be held rain or shine under a tent in The Fine Grind parking lot.

All stores in the Piazza Farnese Shopping Center at 101 Newark-Pompton Turnpike will participate and donate the proceeds of certain items or services sold between noon at 4pm on May 20 and May 21 to American Cancer Society. The Fine Grind will donate $1 per frozen hot chocolate (Fro-Ho™), La Piazza will donate $1 per slice and soda sold, Sun’s Nail Spa will donate $1 per pedicure, Salon XO will donate $5 for each haircut, D&Y Convenience Store will donate $1 per slushie sold and Q Cleaners will donate 20% of all gift certificates purchased during that time.

This outdoor spring festival will raise funds for the annual Relay for Life fundraiser which is an overnight celebration representing the hope that

those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer

will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

The Relay For Life will be held at Passaic Valley Regional High School June 12, 2:00pm – June 13th, 6:00am.

In 2010, The Fine Grind raised almost $3000 for Relay for Life with a successful book sale and this year, they hope to top that impressive number.
