Recycling Container Distribution to West Caldwell Residents

The Township of West Caldwell is pleased to announce that through a grant provided by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Essex County Utilities Authority has given the township 700 20-gallon recycling containers to provide free of charge to our residents. On Saturday, December 4, 2010 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. we will be distributing one container per household at the Department of Public Works yard, located at 21 Clinton Road behind the Police Station. Proof of residency will be required, first come first served.

Through the distribution of these containers, the Essex County Utilities Authority and the Township of West Caldwell hope to encourage residents to renew their commitment to recycling their glass, plastics, aluminum and paper. For more information, please call Sandra Berardi, Recycling Coordinator, at 973-226-2303.
