The Diane Moser Quintet will perform an evening of jazz music at Caldwell College on Friday, Feb. 25. The concert will feature music from their recording "Looking Forward, Looking Back," Moser's film score from the award winning documentary "Breaking Boundaries: The Art of Alex Masket."
The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Alumni Theatre with a showing of the film, which chronicles the story of Alex Masket, an extraordinary young artist with severe autism. Filmmaker Dennis Connors, a Montclair resident, will present his 18-minute film, followed by a discussion moderated by Caldwell College Communication Arts Professor John Yurko.
The concert will take place at 8:00 p.m. and will also include works from two of Moser's recent projects, "MacDowell's Woodlands-The Birdsong Project" and "Music of the Spheres-Intervallic Dreams."
