This is a exhibition of acrylic and watercolor paintings done by Mac McPeters, a resident of West Caldwell, NJ. . the Tree Portraits are acrylic paintings done in a series, started from a trip to Ireland. The watercolours are everyday type subjects mostly found around Ocracoke, NC. Both subjects tend to try and capture a metaphor or visual poetry. The trees become history, watchers of men and women as we go day to day. They are one of the most powerful aspects of nature to me. The watercolours are away I keep my sanity and memory intact.
