"The Wisdom of Broadway," an evening of song and reflection with Father Frank McNutly and members of the Caldwell College Musical Theatre Workshop, will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the Alumni Theatre.
The event will include favorite numbers from hit shows. Among the songs will be "Don't Rain on My Parade" from "Funny Girl," "For Good" from "Wicked," "I Dream a Dream" from "Les Miserables," "Send in the Clowns" from "A Little Night Music," "Where is Love?" from "Oliver" and "Love Never Dies" from "The Sequel to the Phantom of the Opera." McNulty, a teacher, preacher and author, who is a weekend assistant at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell, will discuss why these songs touch listeners so deeply.
Tickets are $20 and proceeds will benefit Caldwell College Music Department scholarships. Seating is limited.
