FEMA Coming To West Caldwell, Will Offer Info On Ida Recovery
A disaster assistance team from FEMA will be coming to West Caldwell to offer people information about recovery from Hurricane Ida.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — A disaster assistance team from FEMA will be coming to West Caldwell to offer people information about recovery from Hurricane Ida, officials said.
According to West Caldwell Mayor Joe Tempesta, local residents and business owners who suffered damage from the storm will get to meet in-person with FEMA representatives.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road. People can enter through the rear entrance to the library.

FEMA team members will answer questions and assist residents with the disaster relief application process. People should bring a photo ID.
Essex County is also holding a Disaster Recovery Center at the old Kmart site in West Orange located at 235 Prospect Avenue, Tempesta noted. This location will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
