Few Pickleball Spots Remain: Caldwell Adult School Registration Is Open

THE CALDWELLS, NJ — Registration has opened for spring 2023 adult education courses and programs in the Caldwell-West Caldwell schools, but the district warned that some programs only have a few spots remaining.

For instance, pickleball, a sport that's grown in popularity and has even sparked arguments, had three spots left in one class and eight in another as of Thursday. Three spots also remained for woodworking.

A wide range of classes is offered, including eight new classes.

Some of the classes focus on fitness, others on licensing for a career, some on technology and some on parenting or grandparenting in the 21st century. One class focuses on "detoxing" from the past.
