First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell Wants Your Blood (Drive)

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell will hold a community blood drive from 3 to 8 p.m., inside its Fellowship Hall at 326 Bloomfield Ave.

Any healthy individual, age 17 through 75 (16 with parental permission) and weighing at least 110 pounds can donate blood. At age 76, donors must provide a note from their doctors stating they can give blood.

Donors should eat a moderate meal before donating and must bring identification showing a signature.

According to a release, the drive is being held in cooperation with Community Blood Services, which supplies blood products to more than 30 hospitals in New Jersey, New York City and Orange and Rockland counties in New York.
