Food Donation Event In Caldwell: Hams, Turkeys, Other Items Needed

CALDWELL, NJ — A food donation event will take place in Caldwell to benefit families in need on Monday, April 14.

According to a news release from organizers, the collection will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. behind St Aloysius Church (Trinity Gym Vestibule), 219 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.

“If you have a ham, frozen turkey or turkey breast you would like to donate, please bring it and a volunteer will take it out of the car for you,” organizers said.

Organizers will also be accepting non-perishable and unexpired food, as well as supermarket gift cards.

Donations will benefit local families first, then to Our Lady Help of Christians in East Orange and St John's Soup Kitchen in Newark.
