Free Arts and Crafts Advent Festival
The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell to hold a free Arts and Crafts festival for local families and individuals on Sunday, Nov. 29.
Community residents are invited to prepare for Christmas by participating in an Advent Festival at the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 29. Get into the spirit of the holidays and join us on the first Sunday of Advent for a free afternoon of Christmas crafting.
Fifteen different craft stations will offer something for all ages and skill levels. All supplies are provided at no cost and helpers will be available at each table to advise and consult. This year’s projects include family Advent wreaths, two repeat favorites from past festivals and a number of new and exciting possibilities, including several wood projects.
The crafting sessions will end at 4:00pm followed by a brief devotional time and a short carol sing led by church members.

Many church members were involved with selecting the 2015 crafts and preparing the materials so that everyone may find it easy to create something meaningful and beautiful. Share in the joy of the season with friends and families of the community.
Parents are encouraged to work with younger children as this is intended to be an opportunity to promote family togetherness. Older children, teenagers and adults will find it easy to participate alone or with a friend.
Attendees are invited to contribute a staple item for the emergency food pantry as a voluntary “admission fee.”

The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell is located at 326 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, at the corner of Bloomfield and Roseland Avenues. The Advent Festival will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall, which can be entered at the glass-enclosed stairs off Westville Avenue. For those who have difficulty with stairs, there is an elevator providing access to Fellowship Hall.
