Friday's Episode of 'What Would You Do?' Filmed at Cloverleaf

When it comes to standing up for what you believe is right, are you all talk and no action? That’s the premise of ABC News’s hidden-camera show, What Would You Do?

This week’s episode features the segment, “The Naughty Photographer,” which was filmed at the in Caldwell last July. The popular eatery and pub will tune television sets to the show on Friday, Jan. 27, at 9 p.m.

Film crews took over the Cloverleaf for two days last summer, according to manager Tina Hamilton.

They arrived at 3 a.m. to begin hiding cameras and microphones around the restaurant, Hamilton explained. She said there were about 50 crew members involved and two different scenarios were shot.

“They hide in a secret location and then they all have monitors in that room so they can see what’s going on,” she explained.

Meanwhile, in the dining room, actors and actresses play out a scenario that prompts those around them to question whether or not they should get involved. Last week’s season premiere, for example, featured actors pretending to be drunk parents asking their children to drive for them.

When onlookers can’t stay silent and get involved, that’s when host John Quiñones steps out. Quiñones discusses the ethical choices made—or not made—by the unsuspecting members of the public.

This isn’t the first national television appearance for the “Leaf.” A Wendy’s commercial promoting the fast-food chains boneless wings was filmed there a few years ago.
