Grover Cleveland School Forum: ‘Your Child And Social Media’
Parents in the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District can learn more about how social media affects their children's lives on Oct. 9.

CALDWELL, NJ — Parents in the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District can get a chance to learn more about something their kids are already experts in – social media – during a forum at Grover Cleveland Middle School on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
According to school administrators, the forum, titled “Your Child – Social Media & Technology,” will take place at 7 p.m. in the GCMS cafeteria following the HAS meeting. The seminar is part of the district’s “Principal Parent Workshops.”

The goals of the forum include:
- Examine children’s use of technology and social media
- Increase parent awareness of the potential challenges around social media and technology
- Learn practical, proactive parenting strategies to maintain connections with children using the media they are using
- Learn how to guide children in appropriate and safe interactions on the Internet
