Honoring Herb Schwartz -sharing and selling some original art work. People have asked me and now is the time. Come enjoy!

Herb Schwartz passed away five years ago. He was loved, admired, a wonderful art teacher and wise human who touched the lives of many.

Herb Schwartz is remembered and loved. He was a teacher in Caldwell-West Caldwell schools for twenty-six years. When he retired, he opened his art studio and the word got out that Mr. Schwartz was open to teaching private classes. For 13 years he shared his talents and gifts at his little school. 150 children attended his classes weekly. The students and parents loved to come and do 'their own thing' with his gentle, expert guidance. His sense of humor, expertise and creating a haven was treasured by many. I am moving out of state and would like to offer a showing and sale of some of his original pieces of art work. I receive hundreds of letters and cards from students and families all over the country that have benefited from Herb's influence in their lives.

Herb was The Artist on the Lawn and Poster Artist for The White House during the Clinton administration. He raised over a million dollars for charities and donated his time to create three fiber glass cows during the Cow Parade: Yankee Yogi Berra Cow, Washington Redskin Cow and NJ Devils Cow. He painted a real egg to represent the state of New Jersey depicting Thomas Edison's inventions that is in the archives of The White House. He has an original painting, done for the MS Foundation, hanging in the Library of Congress. He has licensed his art work world wide. The Mayor of West Orange honored him at the State of the Union address by saying "Herb Schwartz is a secret jewel of New Jersey". He is truly missed and loved forever!
