How to Find Out Who You Are: A Genealogy Overview

On October 21st at 6:30 pm the Caldwell Public Library will present "How To Find Out Who You Are: A Genealogy Overview" with Susan Kobren.

On October 21st at 6:30 pm the Caldwell Public Library will present “How to Find Out Who You Are: A Genealogy Overview with Susan Kobren, President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of North Jersey.

Susan will give us an overview of genealogy with an emphasis on Jewish research. She will dispel two widely held myths. First that if “I never interviewed my parents and/or grandparents there is nothing I can do”. Second that “all the records were burned and there is nothing left to research”. Both of these are untrue. Come find out why.
Susan Kobren has been avidly researching her own family history since 1989. She has connected with several “lost” family members. She is currently the president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of North Jersey and has attended many international conferences over the years.
This event is free. Reservations required.
