James Caldwell High School Music Marathons

Enjoy two nights of student performances - Thursday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 8.

James Caldwell High School Music Department is pleased to announce its first on-site Music Marathons since 2019. Student performances will be divided between two evenings - Thursday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 8 - and will take place in the school’s Center for Performing Arts.
Night 1 opens at 7:30 pm with a preview of this spring’s musical, Matilda, as well as a variety of musical selections by the different JCHS choruses, the orchestra, and the concert bands. Night 2 begins at 6:45 pm in room 406, the JCHS Chorus Room, and will spotlight the following small ensembles:

  • Con Brio - 6:45-6:55 pm
  • Solo performances - 7:00-7:20 pm
  • Jazz Ensemble - 7:30-7:40 pm
  • Percussion Ensemble - 7:45-7:55 pm
  • Retromen - 8:00-8:10 pm
  • Clarinet Ensemble - 8:15-8:25 pm
  • Madrigal Singers - 8:30-8:40 pm
  • Flute Ensemble - 8:45-8:55 pm
  • Women of Note - 9:00-9:10 pm
  • Saxophone Ensemble - 9:15-9:25 pm
  • Chamber Orchestra 9:30-9:40 pm

Suggested donation is $5. Please note that audience members will be expected to follow all Caldwell-West Caldwell School District health protocols and guidance in place at the time of the event. There will also be 50/50 raffles and a "Warm & Fuzzy" table with small items for sale to help support our young musicians.
