James Caldwell High School Presents 'The Addams Family'

West Caldwell students take on a ghoulish look

The “creepy and the kooky, mysterious and spooky” will snap across the James Caldwell High School stage next week when the school presents “The Addams Family” from Thursday, March 19, through Saturday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m., and on Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m., at the JCHS Center for Performing Arts in West Caldwell.

Based on the 2010 Broadway musical comedy with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the show features more than three dozen of Caldwell’s and West Caldwell’s students. In addition to the show, activities including a photo area, snack and souvenir stand, and a pre-show Addams family spook house will be featured in the lobby. The spook house will be open on Saturday, March 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; entrance to the spook house is $3 per person.

Reserved seat tickets for “The Addams Family” are available online, or at the door for $10. On Thursday night, senior citizens will be offered a discounted rate of $5.
