Kindergarten In Caldwell-West Caldwell: 2020 Registration Dates

CALDWELLS, NJ — From January 28 through February 6, the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District will conduct its annual full-day kindergarten program registration.

According to district administrators, all children eligible for kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year must register so that officials can efficiently plan for September classes. A child must be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2020 to be eligible for kindergarten in September 2020.

Parents and guardians can visit the district’s website at www.cwcboe.org to review registration requirements and to begin the process. In order to determine which elementary school your child will attend, click on the link “Elementary School Boundaries” on the district’s website.

"Please note that these boundaries are considered 'soft,' as enrollment fluctuations sometimes require changes to students’ school assignments," administrators said.

Registration will take place at each of the elementary schools according to the following schedule:

• Jefferson School, Thursday, Feb. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m.
• Lincoln School, Monday, Feb. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m.
• Washington School, Tuesday, Jan. 28, last names A-L from 9 to 10:45 a.m., and last names M-Z from 1:15 to 3 p.m.
• Wilson School, Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 9 to 11 a.m.
