Do You Know An 'Impactful' Woman In Caldwell? Nominate Her For Award March 1
Caldwell has opened nominations through March 1 for the "2023 Caldwell Women's Community Impact Award."
CALDWELL, NJ — Do you know an "impactful" woman or group of women in Caldwell?
If so, you can nominate them for this year's annual Women's Community Impact Award.
This annual award was established by the Borough of Caldwell to recognize women who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

The deadline is March 1.
The award is presented during March, Women's History Month, and honors "an individual (or individuals) for outstanding contributions as a professional, volunteer, or agent of change."

Areas to be considered may include work for charitable, volunteer, philanthropic, and cultural institutions; service in the military; economic, social, artistic, scientific and educational contributions; or, being the “first” woman to break through a barrier.
The town says considerations can include:
● Commitment to improving the lives of women and/or girls in the community
● Empowerment and inspiration of other women as a mentor, role model and/or friend
● Commitment to community service
● Demonstration of positive contributions to the lives of women and/or girls
This list is not intended to be inclusive, but rather to give an idea. The contribution(s) can be current, in the recent past or over a longer period of time.
Caldwell residents are encouraged to send nominations through the form or directly to members of the Borough Council who will make the final selection of award winners. (See details below.)
Women who are Caldwell residents or who are not current residents but have made significant contributions to our community are eligible. Current salaried employees or elected officials of Caldwell cannot be nominated.
