CALDWELLS, NJ — Residents of the Caldwells have been using a new way to raise donations amid the coronavirus crisis: lawn signs.

West Caldwell Recreation and Jr. Chiefs Baseball Director Lorenzo Sozio recently organized a lawn sign drive, raising $1,000 for the West Essex First Aid Squad and the borough’s police and fire departments. (See above photo)

Meanwhile, in North Caldwell, organizers have been raising money for the West Essex First Aid Squad and the local police and fire departments.

Due to popular demand, 100 additional signs were ordered and will be available for purchase and pickup on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to noon in front of the North Caldwell police station at 136 Gould Avenue.
