Leonard Sax: 'Gender Matters' in Schools
Home school association sponsors upcoming public presentation in West Caldwell.

The Caldwell-West Caldwell Home School Association League is organizing an upcoming presentation series titled “Gender Matters,” which will take place on Thursday, April 9.
The talks feature Leonard Sax, speaker, psychologist, board-certified physician, gender expert and author of “Why Gender Matters, Boys Adrift and Girls on the Edge.” According to a release, Sax has appeared on CNN, PBS, NPR and NBC’s Today Show, and his work has been published in American Psychologist and the Journal of the American Medical Association.
The talks are sponsored by the Caldwell-West Caldwell HSA League, Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex, and the Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education.

Free presentations for parents will take place at:
- Harrison School Building, 104 Gray St., West Caldwell, 9:30 a.m.
- James Caldwell High School Center of Performing Arts, 265 Westville Avenue, West Caldwell, 7 p.m.
Free workshops will be also given for Caldwell-West Caldwell teachers at the Harrison School building at 1 and 3:30 p.m.
