Virtual Business is a course offered at West Essex High School which gives students an opportunity to create a business plan for their own venture. Business education teacher Janice Emering states “Hearing from individuals like these, who have successfully navigated the process of small business ownership is both inspiring and invaluable.”

Ms. Kippel and Mr. Daniels are both members of the North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC). The Chamber exists to connect business with community. Through its members, NECC is inspiring future entrepreneurs by giving high school students an opportunity to learn from and interact with a local store owner.
