Make Some Noise for James Caldwell High School Graduates

CALDWELLS, NJ — Want to help the James Caldwell High School class of 2020 celebrate their graduation? Head online – and then make some noise outside – on Tuesday night, school administrators say.

Starting at 6 p.m., the school’s virtual commencement video goes live. It can be seen here or here.

According to Principal Jim Devlin, students were recorded individually on Bonnel Field receiving their diplomas, turning their tassels and leaving quick messages to their family, friends, and teachers.

“Shot and edited by a professional crew, it looks and sounds great,” Devlin wrote.

School administrators added:

“By 7:32 p.m., every student will have received diplomas, turned their tassels and thrown their caps. There will then be a brief intermission during which we invite you to go outside (weather permitting), and at 7:40 p.m., celebrate the JCHS Class of 2020 by honking your horns, clapping your hands, and making as much noise as possible! After the 15-minute intermission, the ceremony will continue with a video montage and messages from the graduates' families.”
