More Water Repairs In North Caldwell Expected Wednesday

"Residents in the area may experience discoloration of water and brief water outages," North Caldwell officials said.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The water woes aren’t over yet, North Caldwell.

According to a municipal news alert, the southbound side of Grandview Avenue will be closed from Sunset Drive to Squire Hill Road on Wednesday for a water line repair. The northbound lane of Grandview Avenue will remain open.

A detour will be in place routing vehicular traffic through Sunset Drive, Longview Avenue and Squire Hill Road, officials noted.

“During this time, residents in the area may experience discoloration of water and brief water outages,” borough officials said in their advisory.

Last week, North Caldwell residents living in the Hilltop area were placed under a boil water advisory after a main break and a series of system failures at the Passaic Valley Water Commission.
