CALDWELL, NJ — When a teenage Make-A-Wish recipient in Old Bridge challenged New Jersey to write 250,000 letters about their holiday wishes, students at Grandview School in North Caldwell stepped up to the plate.

Recently, students at Grandview contributed more than 300 letters to A.J. Silvestri’s campaign of good will, which will net Make-A-Wish a $1 per letter donation from Macy’s if the 250,000 goal is met.

The students’ letters included several inspiring messages, such as: “My wish for others is that very poor people and homeless people will get homes and food to survive.”
