New Face on the Force: Justin Misano
Get to know members of the Caldwell Police Department.

One of new Caldwell Police Chief James Bongiorno's stated goals is to help the community get to know the department's officers better. Patch will share a short profile of each of the new and newly promoted members of the CPD in a series of stories.
Earlier this week, Patch featured Patrol Officers Michael Kraynanski and Justin Rizzo. Today, meet the other new Justin on the Caldwell Police, Patrol Officer Justin Misano. Misano was sworn-in on New Year's Day, during the borough's annual Reorganization Meeting.
Justin was born and raised in Sayreville and graduated from Sayreville High School in 2001. He went on to Rutgers University where he graduated with a journalism and media degree from the school of communications. He worked as an editor for the NBA and MLB Network and won a sports Emmy as an editor with MLB Network last year. Justin graduated from the Cape May County Police Academy in January 2011. His is a family-oriented person and stays active by going to the gym and playing baseball and softball.
