CALDWELLS, NJ — Chabad of the Caldwells recently announced the launch of a new Hebrew School for the 2024-2025 school year.

According to a news release, the JUDA Hebrew School of the Arts offers students a “uniquely engaging learning experience” that brings Jewish teachings to life.

“JUDA builds upon our commitment to providing children with a personally meaningful journey of Jewish education. A branch of the International Chabad Children's Network (CKids), our comprehensive curriculum enables each child to deepen their understanding of their heritage in a meaningful and practical way that positively impacts their lives. Children at JUDA will embark on an interactive and captivating journey through the year, focusing on various Mitzvot, Israel, and Jewish pride. Each lesson involves fun and exciting hands-on STEM activities and creative arts, ensuring the engagement and enjoyment of every student. Hebrew Scouts, our multisensory Hebrew reading program is geared towards each child's skill level. It incorporates phonemic awareness and culminating Hebrew vocabulary.”

Rabbi Shmuly Sputz, director of Chabad of the Caldwells, offered support for the new Hebrew School.

“JUDA is a place where the children of the Caldwells community not only learn about their Jewish heritage but also integrate the wisdom and beauty of Judaism in their daily lives,” Sputz said.
