NFL Players Prep For Season In West Caldwell
The pro football players have been sharing tips with Caldwell's high school students.

If you think that you may have seen NFL players hanging around James Caldwell High School lately, you’re not seeing things.
Several players from teams including the Jets, Steelers, Lions and Titans have been working out at the high school field on Westville Avenue since July 7, sweating out speed, position and general conditioning sessions as they prep for the upcoming gridiron season.

What’s the Caldwell connection for the NFL pros? Professional sports trainer Brian Martin, a James Caldwell High alumnus and former captain of the school football team.
Martin told Patch that he reached out to JCHS coach Ken Trimmer because of the schools “great facility.”

In return for the use of the field, the NFL pros have been sharing some valuable tips with local students and gridiron hopefuls, including “training, motivation and life lessons.”
