North Caldwell Block May See Temporary Water Discoloration: Here’s Why
"If you notice discoloration in your water, please run cold water from a faucet until it clears," a borough advisory said.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — A North Caldwell Fire Department training exercise may cause temporary water discoloration for nearby residents on Monday evening.
The training will take place on the 10-block of Willow Lane between 6:30 and 9 p.m., a borough advisory said.
Firefighters will be using water from the municipal system, which may cause temporary water discoloration in the surrounding area.

“If you notice discoloration in your water, please run cold water from a faucet until it clears,” the advisory said. “Residents are encouraged to ensure the water is clear before using it for cooking, drinking, bathing, or washing clothes.”
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as our firefighters conduct this important training,” borough officials said.
