North Caldwell Borough Administrator Retires; Completes Govt. ‘Triple Crown’

Former North Caldwell borough administrator Mel Levine has also served as mayor and council president, 3 of the highest positions in town.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — North Caldwell’s recently retired borough administrator Mel Levine received a round of applause from the town’s governing body during the last North Caldwell Mayor and Council meeting.

During the Sept. 26 meeting, Levine praised the council and the township staff for their contributions during his tenure as administrator in North Caldwell.

According to Levine’s LinkedIn profile, he has also served as the mayor of North Caldwell (2003-2010), council president (1998-2002), a councilman (1987-2002), and as the president of the North Caldwell Zoning Board.

Levine has also been associated with the North Caldwell Foundation for Education and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is a trustee member of the Bridge Outreach Program, his profile states.
