North Caldwell Named Among 'Best Towns For Music Education'

Some towns love music.

And some towns really love music.

This week, North Caldwell was recently included as one of the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation’s “Best Communities for Music Education” for 2016.

The awards “recognize outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who work together to ensure access to music learning for all students as part of the school curriculum.”

The program evaluates schools and districts based on funding, staffing of highly qualified teachers, commitment to standards, community support, participation and access to music instruction.

Out of the nation’s 13,515 school districts, 476 were nominated. See the full list here.

• Nutley
• Maplewood
• North Caldwell
