North Caldwell PD Looking For New Cops (Here’s How To Apply)

The North Caldwell Police Department is offering local cop hopefuls their big chance to land a job.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The North Caldwell Police Department is offering local cop hopefuls their big chance to land a job.

On Wednesday, the NCPD announced on social media that it is seeking certified candidates to apply for police officer positions. The department is accepting resumes for applicants that are PTC-certified as a police officer, or who are PTC-waiver eligible.

Candidates must have high school diplomas, New Jersey driver’s licenses and must pass “extensive” background checks, along with a medical, physical and psychological exam, the NCPD stated.

The starting salary and benefits are “consistent with the PBA collective bargaining agreement,” police said.

Interested applicants can submit a resume along with a cover letter in person to the North Caldwell Police Department at 136 Gould Avenue in North Caldwell. An application can be picked up at that time, authorities said.

Applicants will be notified of the date and time of a future interview if selected to continue in the process, the CPD stated. All resumes are due by Sept. 30 to be eligible.
