UPDATE: North Caldwell Sees Gas Station Burglary: Police Take Verona Juvenile Into Custody

The Exxon gas station on Bloomfield Avenue was burglarized on Saturday, North Caldwell police say.

Editor’s Note: The North Caldwell Police Department told Patch that officers took a 17-year-old male from Verona into custody around 2 p.m. on Tuesday in connection with this alert.

North Caldwell, NJ – North Caldwell police are looking for a man wanted for questioning regarding a burglary that took place on Saturday night at the Exxon gas station on Bloomfield Avenue.

According to a police alert issued via social media:

“The North Caldwell Police Department is trying to identify an individual wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary to the Exxon station convenience store located at 1 Bloomfield Ave. The burglary occurred around midnight on Saturday, January 16th, 2016. The individual is wearing a white/black long sleeve Ralph Lauren polo with the #3 on the right arm, tan pants, gray/white Nike shoes and a dark colored jacket with a yellow lining (possibly a Nautica jacket).”
