The Gould School students competed with singers from across the Garden State.

North Caldwell, NJ – Four Gould School students had the honor of representing the district in the 2016 NJ Elementary Honor Choir event earlier this month, school officials stated.
According to a district email newsletter, following a competitive audition process, the four singers - Androulla Papatherapontos, Claudia Marino, Madison Rombough and Rebecca Clements – competed with students from across the Garden State during the May 7 event.
The students rehearsed and performed a concert in Flemington under the direction of Philip Silvey, Director of Choral Activities at the Eastman School of Music. Their repertoire included pieces by J.S. Bach, Leonard Bernstein, Z. Randall Stroope, and Silvey.
