NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Third grade students at Grandview School in North Caldwell recently received an important life lesson: how to fight fair.
According to a district email newsletter, the students participated in a “Peace Week” during September that included lessons on “how to fight fair” and “how to handle situations with their peers.”
Other activities during the weeklong program included a workshop on what peace means and the many symbols that represent peace, and a workshop on mindfulness and how to use their brain to focus and stay calm in stressful situations, school administrators reported.
