Authorities are looking for a missing man who jumped into a New Jersey river this week.
Martin Ramos, 39, of Newark, who jumped into the Passaic River on Saturday at approximately 1:56 p.m., police said.
Another man first jumped into the Passaic River in the area of 800 Raymond Boulevard in Newark, prompting Ramos, a friend, to attempt to pull his the man out, police.

Instead, Ramos fell into the river and was dragged downstream by its current.Ramos has yet to be seen after he went under the water.
The first victim, a 36-year old Newark resident, was transported to University Hospital for evaluation.

The search continues for Ramos, who is described as white or Hispanic and wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and brown work boots.
