Paterson Cops Make Major Drug Raid, Seize More Than 5,000 Glassines Of Heroin
Police conducted the raid at a Mill Street apartment on Tuesday night.

Paterson police conducted a major narcotics raid at a Mill Street apartment on Tuesday night, seizing 5,083 glassines of heroin and 220 baggies of crack-cocaine.
Police arrested Glenn Urena, 32, of Paterson, during the raid.
In addition to the above narcotics, police also seized a loaded Ruger .45 handgun with no permit, and $2,129 in cash as drug proceeds.

Authorities charged Urena with possession of 5,083 glassines of heroin with intent to distribute (within 1,000 feet of PS #3), possession of 220 baggies of crack-cocaine with intent to distribute (within 1,000 feet of PS #3), possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a handgun while distributing CDS, possession of a handgun for certain persons not to have a handgun (convicted felon), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“This case rises to the level of federal intervention, and we will seek all possible avenues to ensure a safer city,” Police Director Jerry Speziale stated in a release.
