Saint Nick will be arriving to Caldwell tree lighting in style.
A 100-year-old sleigh donated by the Rotary Club of the Caldwells to the has been reconditioned and is ready to be ridden by Santa Claus himself.
The vintage wooden and iron sleigh was painted and reupholestered with red and white fabric.
Claus will pull into Caldwell on the sleigh for the annual tree lighting on the Green at the corner of Bloomfield and Roseland avenues. The tree lighting is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, at 5:00 p.m.

The sleigh was reconditioned by Collision Auto Body of Fairfield, according to Sam Kent, a Rotarian and official photographer for the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Dept.
The CVFD co-sponsors the tree lighting along with the West Caldwell-Caldwell Recreation Dept. For more details, .
